Every winter, it never fails, my hair becomes a flaming ball of static electricity, until this year! About two months ago on a trip to T.J. Maxx I discovered Jonathan product's Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum.
Don't let the name fool you, it keeps the static at bay (it says so on the box, not the bottle.) You apply it on your damp hair and voila! no static. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and I don't have to re-apply between washings. That is just how awesome it is, and it is 100% vegan, for you eco conscious ones.
Next up, Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstain in Cherry Pop
So far this year, I have rocking various shades of red lips, whether it's burgundy, red-orange and now cherry and I am loving it. This stain has a felt-like tip, so it's like drawing on your lips with a marker, which, honestly, what kid hasn't wanted to draw on their lips with their markers and now here is your chance with an adult product and not Crayola! Bonus: This lipstain lasts for hours, it was recommended to me by a friend, who claimed that she's gone to bed and woke-up with it still on her lips, this stuff has staying power!
I'm sure you have all discovered Philsophy's Hope in a Jar, Oprah loves this stuff, I'm just late to the party.
I have never been a moisturizer person, because they've always left my face too greasy, until I bought this product (buy the one without SPF or it may leave your face too greasy for your liking.) Bonus: it smells quite pleasant.

Spotlight on Gina Marie
One of my most creative friends, Gina Daniel has recently launched her online portfolio (it's not completely finished.) I love her work! She recently emailed me this candid shot she took of our friend Blair and Me and I am crazy about it!

a few weeks into one post
ok, so I really didn't take pictures while on my cruise or while I was iced out in Atlanta afterward, but other people did.
Drinking out of coconuts in Costa Maya, Mexico, or as I like to call it: Paradise!
The last night of the cruise was "Glam Rock Party Night" so I busted out a gold top, faux leather shorts and a few dance moves.
When we finally made it back to Atlanta, I was iced out for a few days, the roads were bad and my car battery died. One morning, after I woke up and was checking my email I accidentally opened photobooth and this was taken. Mhmm sleepy Amy.

| poor quality photobooth capture before the cruise |
The third night of the cruise (day of going to Mexico) was halloween night and no pictures were taken or have yet to surface of me dressed as the "Black Swan" I took this photobooth picture the day I finished my costume.

BRB Guys...I'm on a boat.
I'm leaving tomorrow to go on a cruise until next week! And I didn't take any pictures on New Year's Eve, though I was wearing a gold top and a feather and tulle skirt, fabulous, right? Ever since then, I really haven't left the house or changed out of my pajamas.
But here's a picture of those red velvet cupcakes I mentioned in my last post.
Hopefully, I will be a real good and takes several pictures on the cruise to share with you all.
